Advertiser Terms

These terms apply to every business that applies to advertise on Homework Dash ("you"). They are an agreement between you and Geek Passions LLC ("we," "us"). The person who signs the application confirms they are authorized to accept these terms for the business.

1. Your advertiser account

To apply, pay, and see your results, you must log in with a Homework Dash account. You're responsible for keeping your login private and for everything done with it. Applications and payments are made only on homeworkdash.com, never inside our apps.

2. Ad spots and fair use

We sell up to 5 ad spots per day, including one Featured spot. Ads are sold in packages of 1, 5, or 20 days in a row, starting at least 3 days after you apply and no more than 90 days ahead. Each company may hold one spot per day and up to 20 days per calendar month. Companies under common ownership or using the same website count as one company. Ads appear in a pop-up window on the Homework Dash website and apps during the days and hours you're booked (Central time), shared with other ads and our own ads. A Featured ad is shown before other ads each day. We don't guarantee a number of views or clicks.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are listed on our Advertise page for each package (Flyer, Video, or Featured, for 1, 5, or 20 days), plus any sales tax. Prices can change, but the price shown when you apply is the price you pay for that order. You pay only after we approve your ad, and you must pay within 48 hours of approval to keep your days. Payment is handled by our payment processor.

4. Review and approval

We review every ad, usually within 3 days. We may approve, ask for changes, or decline any ad for any lawful reason, including fit for our audience. If we don't review your application in time, your days are released and you aren't charged. Approval doesn't mean we endorse your business or confirm your claims.

5. Content rules

Homework Dash is used by students and families, so ads must be family friendly, truthful, and lawful. We don't accept ads for alcohol, tobacco or vaping, cannabis, gambling, weapons, dating or adult content, political or issue campaigns, payday or high-interest loans, crypto or get-rich offers, or health or weight-loss claims.

No academic dishonesty. We don't accept ads for anything that helps students cheat, including: essay or paper writing ("we write it for you"), homework or online-class completion services, taking tests, quizzes, or exams for someone, test banks, answer keys, solution manuals, or "study guides" that are really copies of actual tests or graded assignments, tools that rewrite, paraphrase, or "humanize" text to get around plagiarism or AI detection, and contract cheating of any kind. Study guides must be original learning materials, not answers to real assessments. Ads may not imitate Homework Dash, collect personal information without consent, or link to unsafe sites. Images must be under 10 MB; videos must be 60 seconds or shorter and under 50 MB. A portrait file is shown like a reel and a landscape file like a video. Viewers can skip video ads after 15 seconds.

6. Your promises

You promise that the business information you give us is accurate; that you own or have permission to use everything in your ad, including logos, music, images, video, and the people shown; that your ad and the page it links to follow all laws, including advertising, consumer protection, and privacy laws; and that your offer is honored as described. You also promise that your products and services do not help students cheat or break their school's academic-integrity rules, as described in section 5, and that you will tell us right away if that changes.

If we learn that an advertiser's products help students cheat, or that its ad or landing page misrepresents what it sells, we may stop the ad immediately, keep the fees paid for days already shown, refuse future ads, and report it where the law requires. Approving an ad is not an endorsement and is not a promise that we have reviewed everything the advertiser sells.

7. Permission to show your ad

You give us permission to store, display, resize, and format your ad on the Homework Dash website and apps during your booked days, and to keep a copy for our records. We may show it in a smaller or reformatted window on different devices, but we won't change its message.

8. Cancellations and refunds

Before you pay, you can withdraw your application at any time by emailing us. After you pay, email us at least 2 days before your first booked day to cancel and receive a refund for the days that haven't run (your package price divided by its days, times the days not yet run). If we must remove an approved ad (for example, because it breaks these terms or a law, or because of a problem on our end), we refund the days that haven't run, unless the removal is because you broke these terms. Days that have already run aren't refundable. We aren't responsible for lost profits or other indirect losses from an ad not running.

9. Results and reports

We count how many times your ad is shown and clicked, by day, and show those numbers in your account under My Ads. Counts are our best measurement and may differ from other tools. We don't share any visitor's personal information with advertisers.

9. Responsibility

You're responsible for your ad, your website, and your products or services. To the fullest extent allowed by law, you agree to cover Geek Passions LLC, its owners, team members, and successors for claims, losses, and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that come from your ad, your business, your products or services (including any claim that they helped someone cheat or broke academic-integrity rules), or your breaking these terms. Our total liability for any claim about an ad is limited to what you paid us for that ad.

10. Verification and records

We use the business details you give us, such as your EIN or state registration number, address, and website, to confirm you're authorized to advertise. We may ask for more information and may decline if we can't verify your business. We keep application, payment, and correspondence records for as long as the law requires for business and tax records.

11. Other terms

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, and any lawsuit must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Orleans Parish, Louisiana. We may transfer these terms to a related company or successor, including a company named Homework Dash LLC. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These terms, together with your approved order, are the entire agreement about your ad.
